Today’s episode is a special release because it is the last week in April. The last week of April being infertility awareness week. This week was dedicated to infertility awareness by RESOLVE.org back in 1989 to bring awareness to this medical issue.
Dealing with infertility is more than being unable to have children. For many, it’s a loss of pregnancy, a loss of identity, a realization of a deep seeded fear, and expensive process, a grieving journey and it affects relationships in so many ways, especially in intimacy.
Monica Ashton is back on the show to talk to us about building intimacy during infertility. She covers six actions concepts a couple can use to improve their sexual intimacy. She also explores the way infertility affects intimacy.

Have you ever heard of tiger moms? Maybe helicopter parenting? Well, today we are covering a new form of parenting that can negatively impact your child’s development, snowplow parenting.
Braxton Dutson sits down with Jessie Shepherd once again, this time to explore the unhelpful parenting actions of snowplow parents. This episode is aimed to help parents identify unhelpful parenting techniques that sometimes seem to be helpful at the moment. Maybe you only use one of these techniques. Maybe you fit the mold of being a snowplow parent. Either way, that is great you see what actions you’re doing. We provide ways to fine-tune your parenting to avoid these pitfalls of being a snowplow parent and help your children excel and succeed. It’s not easy to be a parent, you’re doing your best and we’re rooting for your success and the success of your kids!
Jessie identifies the traits of a snowplow parent and the ways to change those parenting pitfalls in this episode. Braxton gets curious about how many parenting names there are and finds dolphin parenting, jellyfish parenting, and creates his own to join the masses … Lockdown Parenting. Lots of laughs and learning in this week’s episode.
